Meet the artist

Emily Laura Hight

Born & raised in Massachusetts, Emily’s passion for art and literature began at a young age. Emily attended Lesley University to further study literature and pursue a career in Education as a high school English Teacher. For Emily, painting was always a lovely hobby and source of relaxation after work. During the pandemic, however, Emily began to finally share her art, painting bookmarks and sending them to family and friends to spread a little joy during a dark time. After seeing how well-loved these little pieces of art were, Emily knew she needed to open a shop and offer them to the world.

Emily Laura Art first started as a bookmark shop only, but soon grew to offer original artwork, prints, photography, digital downloads, and more. Three years later, Emily is still passionate about creating and and making art accessible for everyone.
